Branding

Spotyl created a market place for customers to monetize space for parking, meetings, events, storage and beyond. It solved the issue of using multiple platforms and made one place to connect buyers and sellers for space. Spotyl was in need of branding work along with a reimagined logo. The founders of Spotyl were looking for a brand that represented mindfulness, service, conveniency, thoughtfulness, and transformation.


Proccess

To understand the companies objectives and principles I initiated a branding questionnaire. This allowed me to visually express what Spotyl stands for.

Initial sketches and a first slide of drafts were completed to hone into a final concept. Below is a deconstructed version of this process.

Concepts: the objective of the sketches was to find a logo that would portray all of the companies values yet maintain a simplistic look.

Final Round: The logo was decided on by the team after testing multiple options with users. The next step was deciding color. Blue was chosen as a color to convey trust, something Spotyl deems crucial when dealing with services and space rentals.


Final Outcome

The founders were very happy with the outcome, Spotyl is now an available app.
